Light shaped by hand. Our table lamps are made by artisans in Eswatini and Tanzania, each in a material that gives the light its own quality. In Eswatini, lamps are shaped from paper pulp made of recycled newspaper and finished by hand, some in matte black with a soft gold glow inside, others with hand-painted stripes. In Tanzania, lamps are coiled from papyrus and star grass, casting a warm, filtered light.
They are made for side tables, consoles and bedsides, and they look as striking switched off as they do in the evening. A single lamp brings a sculptural accent to a room; two placed together create a calm, balanced composition.
