Woven in two layers of elephant grass, this round tray reveals a subtle interplay of pattern, depth and movement. Handcrafted in Northern Ghana, each layer is woven separately before being joined to create a single, beautifully textured piece. The two patterns sit slightly offset, lending the spiral design a sense of rhythm and quiet dynamism. Two integrated handles complete the rim.

Versatile in its appeal, the tray can be styled on a coffee table or displayed on the wall as a piece of woven art. Beautiful on its own or paired with another, it brings texture, craftsmanship and understated character to the interior.

This collective of weavers in Northern Ghana has elevated the art of basketry to another level. The subtle mix of colours, the perfect finishings and the joyful vibes of the artisans pair with the extraordinary shapes they have developed.

Elephant grass

All baskets are made from a fiber called Elephant grass grown locally, it gets dyed, then twisted and eventually artistically woven into the most incredible shapes.
