An expressive celebration of colour, texture and movement, this exceptional basket is handwoven by skilled artisans in Ghana. Its natural fibre body is brought to life with richly dyed strands, carefully woven and left loose to form the dramatic fringe that defines the piece.

Our Partner

This collective of weavers in Northern Ghana has elevated the art of basketry to another level. The subtle mix of colours, the perfect finishings and the joyful vibes of the artisans pair with the extraordinary shapes they have developed.

Elephant grass

All baskets are made from a fiber called Elephant grass that traditionally comes from Southern Ghana, it gets dyed, then twisted and eventually artistically woven into the most incredible shapes.
